Rick has been employed by Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities since 1996. He was first employed as a Follow Along Coordinator helping individuals maintain employment and seek employment advancement opportunities. Rick has held various positions at TCBDD and has been the Community Employment Director since 2016. Over the years Rick is most proud of working with over a hundred job seekers on their path to employment.
Dawn started her career with Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1997 at the Niles Workshop as a Secretary / Administrative Assistant. In 2019 she moved to the Morrison Board Office / Tony Tomaski Center and started working with the Direct Link - Community Employment Department as the Community Employment Specialist.
I have worked for the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities since 1991. Many of those years were spent working with children and young adults in pre-school through secondary education.
I worked for 8 years in the TCBDD's C.I.T.E. (Community Integrated Training for Employment) program and for several years in the sheltered workshops before becoming an Employment Specialist in 2014.
As Employment Specialist my purpose is to assist individuals as they learn and hone their skills to enable them to reach their goals of obtaining and retaining community employment.
Pete started with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in September of 1991 and continued on through the years in many different positions until he became a Job Coach in the Community Employment Department in July of 2019.
Janis has worked with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities since April of 1998. She started out at the Champion Workshop and after 21 years she transferred to the Fairhaven School as a custodian for 2 years. In November of 2021 Janis moved to the Community Employment Department as a job coach.
Rosilyn was hired by the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1995 and worked for 18 years in the Transportation Department as a Bus Aide and also a Bus Driver. She was certified an On-Board Instructor to train new drivers and recertify veterans. Rosilyn took the opportunity in 2013 to transfer to the Adult Services Department as a Workshop Specialist and in 2019 became an Employment Specialist (Job Coach) in the Community Employment Department training individuals to work in the community.
Cindy was hired at the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1997. She joined the Direct Link Department in 2020.
Denise started with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1994 as a substitute in both the workshop and school. She went to a full time position as a bus-aide in 1995. Denise started as a full time Workshop Specialist in 1996 at the Niles Workshop then transferred to the Champion Workshop in the fall of 1996.
Denise joined the The Direct Link department on July 1, 2019 as a job coach.
Michelle has been employed with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities since 1998. She worked for several years as a Workshop Specialist at the Champion Workshop.
In 2013 Michelle became an Employment Specialist (Job Coach) in the Community Employment Department.
Amber was hired in 1998 by the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in the transportation department. Amber then moved on to the Champion Workshop as a Habilitation Coordinator. From there she moved into the Community Employment Department in 2016 as an Employment Coordinator.
Shannon started with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 2006. She worked in different departments and different buildings until she became a Employment Coordinator in the Community Employment Department in 2016.
Tammy was hired with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1998 in the Transportation Department as a Bus Aide. She was also a substitute in the workshops at that time, which then led to a full time position as an Employment Specialist in 2006. From there Tammy became the Job Developer in the Community Employment Department in 2016.
John started working with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1986. He worked in various capacities within the agency and has been the Transition Specialist since 2019. John has extensive experience in adult services, behavior support and community employment.
Kathy was hired by Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1977 as a substitute. In 1981 Kathy went to full time as a teacher and taught in the classroom and then in the C.I.T.E. Program - Community Integrated Training for Employment. She retired in 2007 but then returned as the Transition Coordinator in 2008. In 2018 Kathy joined the Community Employment Department.
